Catacombacopia

Twisting spiral stairways scurry around Peruvian molded mound,
Organically arrayed, fresh-made footholds align to venture down
Spindling inner chutes reveal halls of terraced tunneling terrains
Down again to fervent underbelly, the trailing traces sepia-hewn
Tilted rampways skitter through chalky dunes of soil, clay and loam
As mossy chutes weave through cross-hatched hempen-vined stalks
Enfolding green, glowing symmetry: inter-connected pandemonium
As creatures large and small make assembly and cultivate the Night
In authentic chants and ancient antics aimed to serenade the Earth
Bellows, wallops, laughter, flailing 'pendages patter with the sequences
The rhythm of universal symphonies, comprising the warring factions
Of dark and light, night and day, our era's answer to the swollen fogs
Waging mythic chaos in the planet's churning, hollowed underbelly
A swarming refuge, reverent elation, tumultuous tribute
In the honor of our gloriously green Mother Earth.
